Our boards are made to be lightest and strongest foilboards available, and excel in performance and durability. We have embraced the best technology in board manufacturing and are continuously learning through innovation.

The build and design team also ride the boards we produce and we are always drawing inspiration from our international team of riders and embracing their feedback to improve and release new boards as the sport grows.

Founder of Amos Shapes - Amos, grew up on the Mid North Coast of NSW. His youth ingrained a passion for surfing and the ocean that is still very much kept alive today. He lives and breathes the surfing and foiling life. A traveller and adventurer, Amos found himself surfing waves throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans for most of his twenties. Here he was continually “product testing” and fine-tuning every board he made and surfed. His first shapes were put through their paces in some of Indonesia’s best breaks. This experience in a variety of waves and logging thousands of hours in the water has given Amos the ability to know when and how a board will perform its best.

In his early thirties after several years of back to back seasons working on Mentawais and south pacific surf charters, Amos put down his surfboard bag to call Lennox Head home. In the last few years Amos has built a board building factory from the ground up with the growing support of surfers and foilers internationally.

Six years ago Amos discovered foiling through a friend and has never looked back. His obsession with this new found love has created a new branch of Amos Shapes we never would have dreamed of.  Amos's passion, vision and drive has now pushed the brand to an international level and we are excited for the future of Amos Shapes as it continues to grow. 

Amos is often head down making boards, foiling or playing with his kids in the beautiful waves around Lennox Head, NSW. Passing on to the next generation his love for surfing, fishing and all things sea related.
