Spitfire V2

After five years as a staple in our line-up - and one of our most popular high-performance foilboards - the Spitfire has earned a loyal following. Now, it’s time for the next chapter. The Spitfire V2 takes everything riders loved about the original and elevates it for today’s foil progression.

The first-generation Spitfire was developed alongside the rise of high-aspect foil wings, delivering the speed and responsiveness and the performance advanced riders craved. But with the popularity of the new mid-aspect and surf-aspect foil wings and a shift toward a more back-foot-oriented riding style - we saw an opportunity to refine this proven design.

For the V2, we have:

• Increased tail area for greater stability and allowing for more area for riders back foot.
• We’ve reduced the amount of tail rocker on the V2, while retaining just enough to preserve the balanced front-foot pressure that made the V1 so popular.
• Maintained the DNA of the original outline while refreshing key elements to match current riding styles and foil progression.

The Spitfire V2 rides with the same agility as popular chop-tail boards, but with a noticeably larger sweet spot. This added forgiveness makes it easier to find balance, while its design handles a broader range of conditions - without sacrificing performance.

The result is a board that still delivers the high-performance feel the Spitfire is known for - now fine-tuned to work seamlessly with today’s mid and high-aspect wings, giving advanced riders the edge they’re chasing.

All Amos Shapes foilboards are built start to finish in our Australian factory using carbon vacuum bag construction with EPS foam and epoxy resins for best strength to weight ratio.
