Construction
Hydrofoil boards rely on a rigid sandwich structure to handle the high torsional loads and stress of hydrofoiling. Amos Shapes Foilboards are built exactly to this standard - an EPS foam core, reinforced with high density foam inserts, wrapped in fibreglass and an outer carbon fibre skin.
Vacuum bagging
Each board is vacuum bagged to consolidate the laminate under pressure, removing excess resin and ensuring a consistent, lightweight shell - resulting in the best stiffness to weight ratio possible.
Foil Tec Tracks
We use Foil Tec Tracks - purpose-built for foiling, and have been developed alongside Amos Shapes specifically for the foiling industry. They are built to handle the loads of foil riding without adding unnecessary weight.
Manufacturing
Our boards are made in house at our Northern Rivers, NSW glassing factory. Amos and our team of very talented board builders are dedicated to making the best possible foilboards. They are always trying new techniques, designs and ideas and continue to push innovation in the foiling industry.
We are always making stock boards however they can often sell out before we get them up online. We encourage customers to place your order via our webpage so you can secure the right board for you. Or if you do not want to wait, check out our boards in stock page, which is updated regularly as stock comes in.
Returns & Warranty
Amos Shapes has a 30 day return policy as long as your product remains unridden/unused and in its original condition.
Warranty 6 month warranty
We offer a 6 month warranty on manufacturing defects. This does not include general wear and tear such as pressure dints, dings or heat delamination.
See full warranty ↗Care Instructions
Do not leave your board in the sun or in prolonged heat (including the car). Carbon boards heat up very quickly and this will cause delamination. This will void your warranty.
The air valve is self-regulating and should not be unscrewed or left out at any time. It regulates pressure in the blank to reduce pressure changes and help your board last longer. It will not stop delamination if the board is left in the sun or prolonged heat.
Only use the screws provided with your Amos Shapes board for your foot strap inserts. If you need to replace your screws please contact Amos Shapes. Using any other screws will void warranty.
Do not use power tools to install your foil or foot strap inserts as this will almost certainly cause damage to your board. Screws should always be installed using hand tools and not over tightened.
We use high quality track inserts. Occasionally on a new board your T-nuts from your foil will be tight to get in. We suggest tuning your T-nuts by lightly filing along the long edge until you achieve the correct fit.
If your board has been damaged do not ride it. Have your board repaired by a professional using epoxy resins only.
KrUzer V2 Parawing - A Dedicated Parawing Foilboard
KrUzer Parawing
The KrUzer Parawing is the next evolution of the KrUzer platform, scaled and refined for the emerging discipline of parawinging.
Built from the proven KrUzer platform, refined specifically for parawinging, this model carries over the same efficient mid-length design, parallel rail flow, thin profile which leads to direct foil connection, while increasing overall size and volume to meet the demands of quick planing starts, a stable platform and a surf oriented board red starts, sustained glide, and open-water riding.
Designed for Parawinging
Parawinging demands a board that can generate speed early, maintain glide, and remain stable while managing the wing. The KrUzer Parawing delivers this through a carefully balanced increase in length and volume, without sacrificing responsiveness once on foil.
The extended platform improves paddling and water-start efficiency, while the refined outline and parallel rail influence keep the board tracking cleanly and predictably -resulting in smoother takeoffs and better control when powered.
Efficient. Stable. Connected.
A fuller nose adds foam through the front half of the board, increasing planing speed and helping you get up and flying with less effort. Once on foil, the board maintains a thin, performance-driven profile, delivering a direct and connected feel underfoot.
The result is a board that bridges ease of use and high-performance foiling, making it equally suited to progressing riders and experienced foilers stepping into parawinging.
Key Features
- Mid-length platform scaled for parawinging
- Increased volume for early lift and stability
- Fuller nose for improved planing efficiency
- Parallel rail influence for clean water flow and control
- Thin profile for direct foil connection
- Performs with or without Foil Drive
- Enhanced Connection Window (ECW) for reliable connection to foil assist products
- Foil Tec moulded EVA traction for comfort and controlled grip
- Leash plug and Gore-Tex air vent installed
** Due to a high demand, we currently have a 7-8 week manufacturing time. Please check our Boards in Stock page for boards available now.
